We are glad to be in charge of organizing the VETERANS WORLD CUP 2011 in the Czech Republic.
The venue for the event will be the Nove Mlyny Dam close to the town Mikulov, which is located approximately 40 km south of Brno, the second biggest town in the CR.
The organization will be the responsibility of Jana Bezuskova (the president of the Czech Europe Class Association, janabezuskova@seznam.cz), Marek Smesny, Rostislav Marecek and the hosting club YC Dyje Breclav in cooperation with CECA. We have been constantly working on the regatta since November 2010.

The 2011 Veterans World Cup will be held August 18th- 20th, Sunday 21st serving as a reserve day. Unfortunately, no other term is possible due to many regattas held in the Nove Mlyny dam. This resort is thanks to its position, facilities, a big campsite and tourist environs the best in the Czech Republic.
More information, an invitation, map and notice of race will be posted early in the spring on the CECA website: http://europeclass.yachting.cz and then also on the IECU website: http://www.europeclass.org.

In the spring we will also send invitation cards on the available addresses that we have from the veterans.
We really wish to prepare a nice and exceptional regatta. We are planning a few cultural events accompanying the cup. As for the Czech Republic we can promise the participation of about 20-30 competitors.
